From February 13-15, 2021, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the 54 Hole Open at Innisbrook. The tournament was made up of a 54-hole format with a field of five divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys Under 10 Divison, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls Under 13 Divison.
Boys 16-18

Jonah Winter from Sarasota, FL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Winter brought in scores of 71, 73, 68 for a combined total of 212 for the weekend. Gustavo Rangel from Guaynabo, Puerto Rico was the runner up for the weekend. Rangel with scores of 72, 71, 73 for a combined total of 216. Ty Kretz from Alva, FL finished with top three honors with scores of 74, 73, 74 for a weekend total of 221.
Boys 14-15

Bennett Espenshade from Baltimore, MD was the first-place finisher this weekend. Espenshade brought in scores of 78, 74, 77 for a combined total of 229 for the weekend. Enrique Mediato from Marbella, Spain was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 76, 74, 80 for a combined total of 230. Pablo Del Rio from Metepec, Mexico finished the top three honors with scores of 84, 75, 75 for a weekend total of 234.
Boys 11-13

Joseph Bueme Jr. from Buffalo, NY was the first-place finisher this weekend. Bueme Jr. brought in scores of 78, 75, 77 for a combined total of 230 for the weekend. Sam Brandenburg from Triniy, FL was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 78, 80, 80 for a combined total 238. Konner Kubica from Northville, MI finished the top three honors with scores of 75, 79, 86 for a weekend total of 240.
Girls 14-18

Kavya Ajjarapu from Lutz, FL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Ajjarapu brought in scores of 74, 79, 74 for a combined total of 227 for the weekend. Andrea Woods from Riverview, FL was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 75, 80, 76 for a combined total of 231. Sophia Hong from Windermere, FL and Lily Zhang from Buffalo, NY tied with top three honors for the weekend. Hong finished with scores of 79, 79, 75 for a weekend total of 233. Zhang finished with 78,79,76 for a weekend total of 233.
Girls U13
Boys 10 Under

Ethan Yao from Manhasset, NY was the first-place finisher this weekend. Yao brought in scores of78, 86, 81 for a combined total of 245 for the weekend.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour
In 2017, The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour announced a partnership with Nexus, an international hospitality and entertainment company backed by financier Joe Lewis and Tavistock Group, golfing great Tiger Woods and musician and entertainer Justin Timberlake, which will further our collective goal of growing the game of golf, broadening the Tour’s reach across the U.S. and around the world.
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intent of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18, and now 10 and under, an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of six age divisions: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys U10, Girls 14-18, and Girls U13. Based out of Jacksonville, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the nation, with stops in Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. In 2016, we have now expanded to the west coast and cover California, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Washington, Nevada, and Oregon.
