From December 28, 2022 – December 29, 2022, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the 2022 PGA National Holiday Open The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of six divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15, Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys Under 10 Division, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls U13 Division.
Boys 16-18

Andrew Aquino from Toronto, Canada was the first-place finisher for the weekend after winning in the playoff against Ty Werynski. Aquino brought in scores of 77 and 74 for a weekend total of 151. Ty Werynski from Burlington, Canada was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 74 and 77 for a weekend total of 151. Philip Harris from Palm Beach Gardens, FL and Robert Zyskowski III from Westport, CT tied for the third place honors with weekend scores of 153.
Boys 14-15

Azel Gamzell from Stockholm, Sweden was the first-place finisher for the weekend. Gemzell brought in scores of 77 and 73 for a weekend total of 150. Andrew Tsar from Palm Beach Gardens, FL was the runner up for the weekend. Tsar brought in scores of 75 and 80 for a weekend total of 155. Joey Iaciofano from Jupiter, FL finished the top three honors with scores of 80 and 76 for a weekend total of 156.
Boys 11-13

Ayden Febres from St. Cloud, FL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Febres brought in scores of 71 on both days for a weekend total of 142. Vladimir Parker from Johns Creek, GA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 71 and 74 for a weekend total of 145. Patrick Shawger from Singer Island, FL finished the top three honors with scores of 71 and 77 for a weekend total of 148.
Girls 14-18

Suchanan Boonrojsaree from Bangkok, Thailand was the first-place finisher this weekend. Boonrojsaree brought in scores of 73 and 75 for a weekend total of 148. Bruna Carvalho from Boynton Beach, FL and Sophie Lim from Boston, MA both tied for the runner up honors. Both Carvalho and Lim brought in scores of 86 and 82 for a weekend total of 168.
Girls U13

Reese McMillan from Jupiter, FL was the first-place finisher this weekend. McMillian brought in scores of 79 and 74 for a combined total of 153. Anna Bell from Poplar Bluff, MO for the runner up for the weekend with scores of 82 and 76 for a combined total of 158. Connie Yang from Vancouver, Canada rounded out the top three honors with scores of 81 and 84 for a weekend total of 165.
Boys 10 Under

Sebastian McGrory from Wesley Chapel, FL was the first-place finisher this weekend. McGrory brought in scores of 81 and 78 for a combined total of 159 for the weekend. Austin Britt from Louisville, KY was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 82 and 81 for a combined total of 163. Bear Sullivan from Vero Beach, FL finished out the top three honors with scores of 82 and 88 for a weekend total of 170.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 8-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. The tour’s vision is to provide superb hospitality and make every event a memorable one. With play open to both males and females, nearly every junior golfer is eligible to participate on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour. Currently the HJGT is the largest multi-day junior golf tour in the United States hosting more 2-day nationally ranked events than any other tour. The HJGT has been able to achieve this goal by running the most professional events and providing an exceptional value to all of our players and families over the last 14 years.
Based out of Orlando, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the country. In 2021, the HJGT will conduct events in Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Canada. Juniors will compete in 1 of 6 divisions which are: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys under 10, Girls 14-18, and Girls Under 13. Click here to view approximate yardages for each division.
