From December 28, 2022 – December 29, 2022, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the 2022 Eagle Creek Holiday Open The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of six divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15, Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys Under 10 Division, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls U13 Division.
Boys 16-18
Isaiah Ibit from Orleans, Canada was the first-place finisher this weekend. Ibit finished with scores of 68 and 72 for a weekend total of 140. Juan Velasquez from Bucaramanga, Columbia was the runner up for the weekend. Velasquez brought in scores of 69 and 72 for a weekend total of 141. Daniel Atie from Panama finished the top three honors with scores of 71 and 72 for a weekend total of 143.
Boys 14-15
Kellen Adickes from Bristol, ME was the first-place finisher this weekend. Adickes brought in scores of 73 and 79 for a combined total of 152 for the weekendHenry Sobaski from Fairfax, IA was the runner up for the weekend. Sobaski brought in scores of 75 and 78 for a total of 153 for the weekend. Lance Reid from Sea Island, GA finished the top three honors with scores of 77 and 81 for a weekend total of 158.
Boys 11-13
Anthony Primio IV from Marlton, NJ was the first-place finisher this weekend. Primo IV brought in scores of 81 and 72 for a weekend total of 153. Ryan Oats from Lake Mary, FL was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 77 both days for a total of 154. Joshua Kim from New Fairfield, CT finished the top three honors with scores of 75 and 81 for a weekend total of 156.
Girls 14-18
Lily Zhang from Buffalo, NY was the first-place finisher this weekend. Zhang brought in scores of 68 and 72 for a weekend total of 140. Jordan Levitt from Bedford, NY was the runner up for the weekend. Levitt brought in scores of 71 both days for a weekend total of 142. Rounding out the top three honors with Sophia Li from New York, NY. Li finished with scores of 74 and 71 for a weekend total of 145.
Girls U13
Allyson Benson from Lake Mary, FL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Benson brought in scores of 84 and 73 for a combined total of 157 for the weekend. Willda Kuang from Lakewood Ranch, FL was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 80 and 78 for a weekend total of 158. Jewel Lafleche rounded out the top three honors for the weekend with scores of 84 and 85, a final total of 169.
Boys 10 Under
Jack Kemper from Winnetka, IL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Kemper brought in scores of 84 and 74 for a weekend total of 158. Chase Perez from Elk Grove Village, IL was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 89 both days, finishing with a 178 weekend total. Perez also secured his first hole-in-one on hole 17! Orion Flesner from Rapid City, SD finished with the top three honors.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 8-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. The tour’s vision is to provide superb hospitality and make every event a memorable one. With play open to both males and females, nearly every junior golfer is eligible to participate on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour. Currently the HJGT is the largest multi-day junior golf tour in the United States hosting more 2-day nationally ranked events than any other tour. The HJGT has been able to achieve this goal by running the most professional events and providing an exceptional value to all of our players and families over the last 14 years.
Based out of Orlando, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the country. In 2021, the HJGT will conduct events in Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Canada. Juniors will compete in 1 of 6 divisions which are: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys under 10, Girls 14-18, and Girls Under 13. Click here to view approximate yardages for each division.
