2021 Eagle Creek Holiday Open

From December 27-28, 2022, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the 2021 Eagle Creek Holiday Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of six divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys Under 10 Division,  Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls Under 13 Division.

Boys 16-18

2021 Eagle Creek Holiday Open

Garret Ebbert from Lake Mary, FL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Ebbert brought in impressive scores of 71 and 67 for a combined total of 138 for the weekend. Bjarni Thor Ludviksson from Reykjavik, Iceland was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 74 and 68 for a weekend total of 142. Elian Infante from Mississauga, Canada and Langtai Tyrone Sun from Windermere, FL tied for the third place honors this weekend. Infante brought in scores of 71 and 74 for a weekend total of 145. Sun finished the weekend with scores of 72 and 73, a 145 total.

Ty Werynski from Burington, Canada was the first-place finisher this weekend. Werynski finished with scores of 71 both days for a weekend total of 142. Harrison Zipfel from University City, MO was the runner up for the weekend. Zipfel finished with scores of 75 and 73 for a weekend total of 148. Pak Hin Sze from Hong Kong, Hong Kong took home the top three honors for the weekend. Sze finished with scores of 77 and 73 for a weekend total of 150.

Shayaan Kim from Rockledge, FL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Kim brought in scores of 67 and 64 for an impressive weekend total of 131 (-9). Jeremiah Smith from Viera, FL put up a good fight and took home the second place honors for the weekend. Smith finished with scores of 70 and 71 for a weekend total of 141. Connor Bringhurst from Ridgefield, WA finished with the top three honors with scores of 72 and 75, a weekend total of 147.

Alexandra Snyder from Orlando, FL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Snyder brought in scores of 76 both days finishing with a 152 total for the weekend. Sara Han from Oakbrook, IL was the runner up for th weekend with scores of 83 and 86 for a weekend total of 169. Rain Jiang from Sarasota, FL finished with the top three honors this weekend. Jiang brought in scores of 88 and 90 for a weekend total of 178.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour

The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 8-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. The tour’s vision is to provide superb hospitality and make every event a memorable one. With play open to both males and females, nearly every junior golfer is eligible to participate on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour. Currently the HJGT is the largest multi-day junior golf tour in the United States hosting more 2-day nationally ranked events than any other tour. The HJGT has been able to achieve this goal by running the most professional events and providing an exceptional value to all of our players and families over the last 14 years.

Based out of Orlando, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the country. In 2021, the HJGT will conduct events in Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Canada. Juniors will compete in 1 of 6 divisions which are: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys under 10, Girls 14-18, and Girls Under 13. Click here to view approximate yardages for each division. The HJGT season is based on a calendar year and players earn points throughout the season towards year end honors beginning December 31, 2021.
