From April 8-9, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Coral Springs Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of six divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys Under 10 Division, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls Under 13 Division. Due to weather, the Boys 11-13 Division, Boys Under 10 Division, Girls 14-18 Division, and the Girls Under 13 Division only completed 9 holes on Sunday, therefore only completing 27 holes for the weekend.
Billy Boroughs from Chattanooga, TN was the first-place finisher this weekend. Boroughs brought in scores of 72 and 72 for a combined total of 144 for the weekend. Reese Woodbury from Stuart, FL was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 78 and 72 for a combined total of 150. Harrison DeLisle from Miami Beach, FL and William Keiley from Jupiter, FL tied to finish out the top three honors for the weekend. DeLisle’s sscores of 74 and 79 and Keiley’s scores of 73 and 80 both combined for a weekend total of 153.
Alexander Zyla from Salzburg, Austria was the first-place finisher this weekend. Zyla brought in scores of 74 and 75 for a combined total of 149 for the weekend. Spencer Shropshire from Oro-Medonte, Canada was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 81 and 78 for a combined total of 159. Yuanzhou Ye from Weston, FL finished the top three honors with scores of 80 and 80 for a weekend total of 160.
The Boys 11-13 Division only played 9 holes on Sunday, April 9th. Axel Monssoh from Miami, FL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Monssoh brought in scores of 74 and 40 for a combined total of 114 for the weekend. Ethan Foster from Bonita Springs, FL was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 81 and 42 for a combined total of 123. The Boys Under 10 Division only played 9 holes on Sunday, April 9th. Maxence Le Theo from Miami, FL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Le Theo brought in scores of 90 and 43 for a combined total of 133 for the weekend. Kayden Lipinky from Parkland, FL was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 90 and 47 for a combined total of 137.
Due to the weather, there was no winner and it ended in a no contest. Gabriella DeGasperis from Jupiter, FL brought in scores of 75 and 41 for a combined total of 116 for the weekend. Mattea Issa from Albany, Bahamas brought in scores of 77 and 39 for a combined total of 116 for the weekend. The Girls Under 13 Division only played 9 holes on Sunday, April 9th. Lily Angioletti from Rivervale, NJ was the first-place finisher this weekend. Angioletti brought in scores of 88 and 39 for a combined total of 127 for the weekend. Chloe Lee from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 90 and 48 for a combined total of 138.
