From March 2-3, 2024, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour hosted the Birmingham Spring Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format and with a field of two divisions, including the Boys 16-18 Division and Boys 14-15 Division.
Jake Monk from Hoover, AL was the first-place finisher of the Birmingham Spring Junior Open after winning the Boys 16-18 Division in a sudden death playoff against Ashton Edwards from Boulder, CO. Both scored 2-under par 142 strokes, with Monk shooting 70 and 72 while Edwards shot 74 and 68. Samuel Burns from Leeds, AL and Ryan Pugh from Birmingham, AL were tied for third-place honors. Both scored 145 strokes, with Burns shooting 68 and 77 while Pugh shot 71 and 74.
Raughley Wise from Birmingham, AL was the first-place finisher of the Boys 14-15 Division. Wise scored 78 and 73, giving him a combined total of 151 strokes. Tied for runner up were Matthew Branicki from Mableton, GA and Fletcher Finch from Birmingham, AL. A close race, both scored just one point behind the lead with 152 strokes, with Branicki shooting 81 and 71, while Finch shot 78 and 74.
