The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour will be returning to Ohio on April 26-27 for the Toledo Junior Shootout. The event is being played at the prestigious Stone Ridge Golf Club in Bowling Green, OH. The course has quickly become the top public golf course in Northwest Ohio. The Toledo Jr. Shootout is open to all junior golfers between the ages of 11-18. This tournament has plenty at stake. The champion in each division will win AJGA Performance Stars if their respective field size requirements are met. Junior Golf Scoreboard rankings will be awarded to all divisions as well. The winners in each division will receive an automatic bid into the HJGT 2014 Tour Championship and Mid-Season Invitational. Additionally, the top ten finishers will receive points towards year end honors which include state teams, ALL HJGT teams and the Hurricane Cup. The event will be a two day, 36-hole, stroke play tournament. The first round will begin on Saturday with a single tee start running from 8:30AM-11:30AM. The second round, on Sunday, will also be a single tee start with times ranging from 10:30AM-1:30PM. The registration fee is $185 for members and $215 for non-members. For 2014 membership information please refer to our website. Stone Ridge is an 18 hole Arthur Hills design public golf course set among 150 acres of rolling terrain. Visually appealing, Stone Ridge offers a challenge to golfers of all skill levels. The course is dead flat that meanders around a posh Bowling Green subdivision. Stone Ridge is a links course, that is well bunkered and has thick lush rough, and hard fast greens. The course has open and tree-lined fairways with several holes where water comes into play. The signature hole, number 18, plays right to left with a pond running along the entire length and past the green. It's a risk and reward hole that is has become a fan favorite.

About us: The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2008 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of four age divisions: Boys 15-18, Boys 11-14, Girls 11-14 and Girls 15-18.
