The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour acquires the All-American Junior Golf Tour The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) is excited to introduce the tour’s acquisition of the All-American Junior Golf Tour (AAJGT). AAJGT members now have the opportunity to play on the largest junior golf tour in the nation.  The HJGT was founded in 2007 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. The HJGT hosts more 2-day nationally ranked events than any other tour.  Since its inception, HJGT has hosted over 550 events with over 15,500 players.  The HJGT has also seen over 975 former players sign letter of intent to play collegiate golf.  In 2015 the HJGT will conduct over 190 events in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Louisiana, Mississippi, Massachusetts, and Connecticut.  HJGT has been able to succeed by hosting quality events with full staffs at premier venues.  Moreover, the AAJGT has been a pioneer in the state of Tennessee since they started back in 2000.   Current members of the AAJGT will be able to use their membership for the rest of 2015 with the HJGT at no additional charge. Being a member gets you member pricing at every HJGT tournament ($50 discount), full set of Lamkin grips ($89 value), full set of champ golf spikes, 1 year of Golf Digest, 30% off all items at the Hurricane Tour Shop, and many other benefits!  Playing on the nationally accredited tour gives all juniors an opportunity to gain nationwide exposure through multiple ranking systems including Junior Golf Scoreboard (JGS), American Junior Golf Association (AJGA), and Golfweek/Titleist Performance Index, among others.  Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of six age divisions in 2016: Boys Under 10, Boys 11-13, Boys 14-15, Boys 16-18, Girls Under 13 and Girls 14-18. Here is what the directors had to say about the acquisition. “We are very excited to have been able to work out an agreement with the All-American Junior Golf Tour said Mario Conte, founder and Executive Director of the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour. “We look forward to bringing more top notch, nationally recognized events to the great state of Tennessee”. “The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour sets the standard for quality and the best customer service in the business” said Danny Rue, Executive Director of the All-American Junior Golf Tour. “ The reason why I did this deal with them is because I’m 100% confident our members will now be in the best of hands to further their golfing career and learn how to become better citizens through junior golf.” For more information about the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour, please visit www.hjgt.org, call the HJGT headquarters at (904) 379-2697 or email info@hjgt.org.
