The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour will be returning to the Orlando area when they host the Stonegate Junior Classic Presented by GolfDotz on March 29-30. The event is being held at the scenic Stonegate Golf Club in Poinciana, FL. This course provides the highest quality greens while surrounding each Orlando junior golf player in the beauty of Florida's natural flora and fauna. The Stonegate Junior Classic Presented by GolfDotz is open to all junior golfers between the ages of 11-18. This tournament has plenty up for grabs. The champion in each division will win AJGA Performance Stars if their respective field size requirements are met. Junior Golf Scoreboard rankings will be awarded to all divisions as well as Florida Junior Tour Exemptions. The winners in each division will receive an automatic bid into the HJGT 2014 Tour Championship and Mid-Season Invitational. Additionally, the top ten finishers will receive points towards year end honors which include state teams, ALL HJGT teams and the Hurricane Cup. The event will be a two day, 36-hole, stroke play tournament. The first round will begin on Saturday with a double tee start running from 7:30AM-9:30AM. The second round, on Sunday, will also be a double tee start with times ranging from 7:30AM-9:30AM. The registration fee is $185 for members and $215 for non-members. About us: The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2008 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of four age divisions: Boys 15-18, Boys 11-14, Girls 11-14 and Girls 15-18.
