St. Louis Kickoff

(June 3-4, 2017)

The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour was in Alton, Illinois June 3rd and 4th for the St. Louis Kickoff. The players, mostly from Missouri and Illinois, came out to Spencer T. Olin in search for a tournament victory. We would like to thank the Spencer T. Olin Golf Course for allowing us to host such a great event. The first round weather conditions were excellent which provided a great opportunity for players to turn in a low score. The second round was met with some afternoon thunderstorms which suspended play for over two hours. Fortunately, the thunder and lightning passed and the players were able to finish their rounds. In spite of the weather on Sunday the players had great attitudes and showed professionalism throughout the weekend. The top 3 finishers in each age division will receive an exemption into the 2017 National Championship December 2-3 2017 and the top 10 finishers from each age division receive points towards year end honors which include state teams, all HJGT teams, and the Hurricane Cup.   Boys 16-18
