
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour will make the postseason trip to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina when they host the Postseason at Palmetto Dunes on November 23-24. This postseason tournament is open to all junior golfers between the ages of 11-18. Being played at the beautiful George Fazio Golf Club, this tournament has a lot up for grabs. The champion in the boys 15-18 division will win four AJGA Performance Stars while the top five will each earn one. The winners in the Boys 11-14, and Girls 15-18 division will also receive AJGA Stars if their respective field size requirements are met. An invitation to the HJGT’s 2013 Tour Championship will also be awarded to winners in all four divisions, as well as South Carolina Junior Golf Association Heritage Points and Tarheel Youth Golf Association Points. In addition, winners will receive a $50 gift card courtesy of Kikkor Golf.
The Postseason at Palmetto Dunes will be a 36-hole stroke play event. The first round will begin on Saturday with a double tee start running from 8:00AM-10:00AM. The final round will also be a double tee start on Sunday with times ranging from 8:00AM-10:00AM. The registration fee is $179 for members and $199 for non-members. From the 432-yard 1st hole to the 462-yard 18th hole, the Fazio course is the only par-70 golf course on Hilton Head Island. Its long par-4s are beset with bunkers and water hazards.

About us: The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2008 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of four age divisions: Boys 15-18, Boys 11-14, Girls 11-14 and Girls 15-18.
