The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) is excited to invite you to our final event in Pennsylvania for 2014! The Pittsburgh Junior Shootout will be held on October 25-26 at Quicksilver Golf Club in Midway, PA. As this is the last event in Pennsylvania, this is a great playing opportunity for everyone in the North east. The HJGT is nearing the end of its 2014 season and every Hurricane Cup point is crucial, so don’t miss out on the opportunity to play like a professional at a great venue and earn the chance to represent your state in the 2014 Hurricane Cup! The Pittsburgh Junior Shootout is open to all golfers between the ages of 11-18. At stake in this event are opportunities to earn Hurricane Cup Points, Junior Golf Scoreboard Rankings (JGS), and AJGA Performance Stars if the respective field sizes are met within each age division. First place finishers in each division receive an automatic bid to the 2014 Tour Championship, held on December 6th-7th. Top 10 finishers receive points towards year end honors, including state teams, ALL HJGT teams, and the Hurricane Cup.. This event is a two-day, 36 hole event. The first round will kick off Saturday, October 25th with a single tee start running from 8:00AM to 12:30 PM. The second round will begin Sunday, October 26th with a single tee start running from 8:00 AM to 12:30PM. Registration fees for HJGT members are $199 and $229 for non-members. About us: The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2008 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of four age divisions: Boys 15-18, Boys 11-14, Girls 11-14 and Girls 15-18.
