The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) invites you to play in the Pittsburgh Junior Challenge! This event will be held at Birdsfoot Golf Club in Freeport, PA on April 11-12. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity to play one of Pennsylvania’s premier golf courses! The Pittsburgh Junior Challenge is open to all golfers between the ages of 11-18. The event will be ranked by the Junior Golf Scoreboard (JGS). Top 3 finishers in each division will receive an exemption into the 2015 Mid-Season Invitational at Chateau Elan June 20-22. Winners in each division will receive an exemption into the 2015 National Championship December 5-6. Top 10 finishers receive points towards year end honors which include state teams, ALL HJGT teams, and the Hurricane Cup. The Hurricane Collegiate Golf Tour (HCGT) is proud to sponsor the Pittsburgh Junior Challenge. The winner of the Boys 15-18 Division and the Winner of the Girls 15-18 will receive one exemption into a Hurricane Collegiate Golf Tour event of their choice ($179 value). The exemption may be used at any HCGT event within the year of 2015. Both rounds will begin with a single tee start from 8:00-10:30 AM. Registration fees for members are $189 and $234 for non-members. The course features 18 distinct holes -- including four of the area's toughest par 3s -- that attract golfers from all over the tri-state area and challenge every club in the bag. Links-style holes on the front nine mingle with parkland beauties played out over rolling hills that are indifferent to bounces good and bad.

About us: The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2008 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment.
