The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour will be hosting the Palm Beach Jr. Challenge in Wellington, FL. This event will take place at the Binks Forest GC on February 9-10. The event will be ranked by the Junior Golf Scoreboard and winners in both boys’ divisions and the 15-18 girls division will receive an exemption for the Florida Junior Tour. Winners in each division will also receive an exemption for the 2013 tour exemption. All top ten finishers will receive points which go towards year-end honors which includes the inaugural Hurricane Cup. The Palm Beach Jr. Challenge will be played in typical 36-hole stroke-play format. Players will begin teeing off at 9:00 am on Saturday morning. There will be four different divisions for this tournament which are 11-14 boys and girls and 15-18 boys and girls. Binks Forest Golf Club is known as one of Florida’s most unique golf courses. Binks is so unique because it is among the few courses in Florida where you do not see an adjacent hole for almost the entire course. Both the course and clubhouse were renovated in 2007 which has made it truly a great place to play a round of golf.
