Orlando Junior Shootout

 (November 5-6, 2016)

On Thursday, November 3rd, 2016, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour traveled to Orlando, Florida to host the Orlando Jr. Shootout at Eagle Creek Golf Club. Sunshine was abundant but wind was a factor in the first round, November 5th, temperatures reaching the low 80s with some rain showers coming into play on the final round. The HJGT would like to thank the Eagle Creek Golf Club staff for allowing us to host our tournament at a great venue. Important factors that were at risk for the players were; the top 10 finishers received points towards year end honors which include state teams, ALL HJGT teams, and the Hurricane Cup, Junior Golf Scoreboard Rankings (JGS), AJGA stars for boys 14-18 and girls 14-18, plus winners in each division will receive an exemption into the 2016 National Championship December 3-4, 2016. Once that first tee shot sored through the air, the golfers were ready to go shoot some low scores on a unusual Par 73 golf course.  Boys 16-18 Division
