The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour will be heading back to host another Ohio Junior Golf tournament in Delaware, Ohio. The Ohio Kickoff at Delaware Presented by InstaGolf marks the first time the HJGT will return to Ohio in the 2014 season. The event is being held at the prestigious Delaware Golf Club on April 5-6. The Ohio Kickoff at Delaware Presented by InstaGolf is open to all junior golfers between the ages of 11-18. This tournament has a lot up for grabs. The champion in each division will win AJGA Performance Stars if their respective field size requirements are met. Junior Golf Scoreboard rankings will be awarded to all divisions as well. The winners in each division will receive an automatic bid into the HJGT 2014 Tour Championship and Mid-Season Invitational. Additionally, the top ten finishers will receive points towards year end honors which include state teams, ALL HJGT teams and the Hurricane Cup. The event will be a two day, 36-hole, stroke play tournament. The first round will begin on Saturday with a single tee start running from 9AM-12PM. The second round, on Sunday, will also be a single tee start with times ranging from 8AM-11AM. The registration fee is $185 for members and $215 for non-members. Ross, the course was later expanded to 18 holes under the direction of Dr. Michael Hurdzan and PGA Professional, Fuzzy Zoeller. The course provides three dramatic valleys, natural tree-lined fairways, ravines, undulating hillsides, and water features that set the stage for a memorable round of golf. The views provided on each challenging hole are more gorgeous than the last. About us: The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2008 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment.
