New Jersey Fall Challenge at Mountain View Golf Club in Ewing, New Jersey

(October 8-9 2016)

 Challenge Accepted in Jersey

On Thursday, October 6th, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour traveled to Ewing, New Jersey to host the New Jersey Fall Challenge at Mountain View Golf Club. The weather was not what we expected for fall season, it was cold and rainy both days, with temperatures between the upper 50’s and upper 60’s.  Sunday’s rainfall caused a delayed start, which resulted in the final round becoming a shotgun.  The rainy and chilly weather did not stop the golfers from performing the best they could. The HJGT would like to thank Mountain View Golf Club for allowing us to host our tournament at such a great venue. The staff was very professional, and accommodating to whatever the Hurricane staff needed. Also, huge thanks to all the parents for their patience and their cooperation for turning Sunday’s shotgun into a success. Junior Golf Scoreboard rankings were up for grabs this weekend as 43 players were battling for their respective age division titles. The players congregated from all over the northeast, and as far as Columbia for a chance at an HJGT title.   Boys 16-18 Division
