The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) is excited to invite you to one of our final TWO events in Alabama for 2014! The Montgomery Junior Shootout will be held from Saturday, October 11th through Sunday, October 12th at the Montgomery Country Club. The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour is closing in on the end of it’s 2014 schedule so competition is ramping up. Don’t miss out on the opportunity earn Hurricane Cup points and represent the state of Alabama in our 2014 Hurricane Cup! The Montgomery Junior Shootout is open to all golfers between the ages of 11-18. At stake in this event are opportunities to earn Junior Golf Scoreboard Rankings (JGS), and AJGA Performance Stars if the respective field sizes are met within each age division. First place finishers in each division receive an automatic bid to the 2014 Tour Championship, held on December 6th-7th. Top 10 finishers receive points towards year end honors, including state teams, ALL HJGT teams, and the Hurricane Cup. This event is a two-day, 36 hole event. The first round will kick off Saturday, October 11th with a single tee start running from 11:00AM to 2:00PM. The second round will begin Sunday, October 12th with a single tee start running from 7:30AM to 11:30AM. Registration fees for HJGT members are $185 and $215 for non-members. About us: The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2008 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of four age divisions: Boys 15-18, Boys 11-14, Girls 11-14 and Girls 15-18. Based out of Jacksonville, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the nation, with stops in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama, Ohio, Indiana, Virginia, New Jersey, Maryland, Mississippi, New York, and Pennsylvania.
