McCormick Woods Jr Masters - April 9-10

McCormick Woods Junior Masters

April 9-10, 2016

On Thurs., April 7, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour traveled to Port Orchard, Wash., to host the McCormick Woods Junior Masters. With great weather in the forecast, the kids were ready to make their mark on the tour’s Northwest region. The weather for the tournament was decent: partly cloudy with a breeze during round one and cloudy with heavy winds for round two. Despite the occasionally challenging weather, the kids were eager to get started. On both days, the field of players received nearly similar conditions, which led to some great scoring. The HJGT would like to thank the McCormick Woods staff for allowing us to host our Junior Masters at a great venue. Winners from each age division received an invitation to the 2016 Tour Championship on Dec. 3-4 and top three in each division received an invitation to the 2016 Druh Belts Mid Season Invitational on June 11-13. Junior Golf Scoreboard ranking was awarded for boys 11-13, 14-15 and 16-18, and to girls 14-18.
