The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) will be making a tour stop in the state of Maryland May 9-10 at the beautiful Worthington Manor GC in Urbana, MD. Maryland juniors will have the opportunity to play one of the area’s finest country clubs against competition from all over the east coast. Maryland Spring Challenge is open to all golfers between the ages of 11-18. The Junior Golf Scoreboard (JGS) will nationally rank the event. Top 3 finishers in each division will receive an exemption into the 2015 Mid-Season Invitational at Chateau Elan June 20-22. Winners in each division will receive an exemption into the 2015 National Championship December 5-6 in Orlando, FL. Top 10 finishers receive points towards year end honors which include state teams, ALL HJGT teams, and the Hurricane Cup. The first round will begin with a single tee start from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM and the second round will begin with a single tee start from 10:00AM-1:00PM. Registration fees for members are $209 and $254 for non-members. Players can register at HJGT.org. At Worthington Manor Golf Club great care was taken in planning each golf shot’s strategy allowing multiple options to the golfer. Carved from the Maryland country side, this course is one of the Mid-Atlantic’s premier championship daily fee courses.

About us: The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of five age divisions: Boys 15-18, Boys 13-14, Boys 11-12, Girls 15-18, and Girls 11-14.
