The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) is excited to invite you one of our final two events in North Carolina for 2014! The Major Championship at Larkin will be held on October 18-19 at Larkin Golf Club in Statesville, NC. As with all HJGT Major Championships, competitors in this event will be given the opportunity to use a caddie! The HJGT is nearing the end of it’s 2014 season and every Hurricane Cup point is crucial, so don’t miss out on the opportunity to play like a professional at a great venue and earn the chance to represent your state in the 2014 Hurricane Cup!
The Major Championship at Larkin is open to all golfers between the ages of 11-18. At stake in this event are opportunities to earn South Carolina Junior Golf Association Heritage Points (SCJGA), Tarheel Youth Golf Association Points (TYGA), Junior Golf Scoreboard Rankings (JGS), and AJGA Performance Stars if the respective field sizes are met within each age division. First place finishers in each division receive an automatic bid to the 2014 Tour Championship, held on December 6th-7th. Top 10 finishers receive points towards year end honors, including state teams, ALL HJGT teams, and the Hurricane Cup. As with all Major Championships, competitors at this event will also have the opportunity to earn more Hurricane Cup Points than at any other event.
This event is a two-day, 36 hole event. The first round will kick off Saturday, October 18th with a single tee start running from 11:00AM to 2:00PM. The second round will begin Sunday, October 19th with a single tee start running from 11:00AM to 2:00PM. Registration fees for HJGT members are $185 and $215 for non-members.

About us: The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2008 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of four age divisions: Boys 15-18, Boys 11-14, Girls 11-14 and Girls 15-18.
