On Monday, June 30th and Tuesday, July 1st, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour will be visiting Williamsburg, Virginia for the Major Championship at Horseshoe! This two day tournament will be held at the Golden Horseshoe Golf Club-Green Course. Players may elect to use caddies for Major Championships. All age divisions are eligible to use a caddie during this event, contact the HJGT about how you can order your personalized caddie bib to take full advantage of this memorable experience! Challenge yourself by playing at the Golden Horseshoe with HJGT! The Major Championship at Horseshoe is open to all junior golfers between the ages of 11-18. A lot is at stake during this Major Championship. AJGA Performance Stars will be rewarded if the proper field sizes for individual age divisions are met. The top 20 finishers receive points towards year end honors which include state teams, ALL HJGT teams, and the Hurricane Cup. Junior Golf Scoreboard rankings (JGS) will be available and the winners in each division will receive an automatic bid into the 2014 Tour Championship! The point values at Major Championships are higher than usual, so don’t miss out!

The event will be a two day, 36-hole, stroke play tournament. The first round will begin on Monday, June 30, with a single tee start running from 9:30AM-12:30PM. The second round, on Tuesday, July 1, will begin with a single tee start at 8AM-11AM. The registration fee is $189 for members and $219 for non-members. About us: The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2008 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of four age divisions: Boys 15-18, Boys 11-14, Girls 11-14 and Girls 15-18.
