The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) will be making a tour stop in the magnificent state of Ohio May 2-3 at the beautiful Lancaster Country Club in Lancaster, OH. Ohio juniors will have the opportunity to play one of the area’s finest country clubs against competition from all over the east coast. The Major Championship at Lancaster is open to all golfers between the ages of 11-18. The Junior Golf Scoreboard (JGS) will nationally rank the event. Top 3 finishers in each division will receive an exemption into the 2015 Mid-Season Invitational at Chateau Elan June 20-22. Winners in each division will receive an exemption into the 2015 National Championship December 5-6 in Orlando, FL. Top 10 finishers receive points towards year end honors which include state teams, ALL HJGT teams, and the Hurricane Cup. Major Championship at Lancaster will have guaranteed AJGA Performance Stars at stake regardless of the field size for the Girls 11-14 Champion who will earn 1 Performance Star. Both rounds will begin with a single tee start from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Registration fees for members are $189 and $234 for non-members. Players can register at HJGT.org. Tree lined fairways and elevated tees makes Lancaster Country Club one of the most scenic golf courses in Central Ohio. Rolling hills, mounded greens, and a design that fits with the surrounding land keeps the golfer thinking about each shot throughout his or her round.

About us: The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of five age divisions: Boys 15-18, Boys 13-14, Boys 11-12, Girls 15-18, and Girls 11-14.
