The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) invites you to play in the Jacksonville Junior Shootout!  This event will be held at Cimarrone Golf and Country Club in Jacksonville, FL on March 14-15. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity to play one of Florida’s premier golf courses! The Jacksonville Junior Shootout is open to all golfers between the ages of 11-18. The event will be ranked by the Junior Golf Scoreboard (JGS). Top 3 finishers in each division will receive an exemption into the 2015 Mid-Season Invitational at Chateau Elan June 20-22.  Winners in each division will receive an exemption into the 2015 Tour Championship December 5-6.  Top 10 finishers receive points towards year end honors which include state teams, ALL HJGT teams, and the Hurricane Cup. The Jacksonville Junior Shootout will have guaranteed AJGA Performance Stars at stake regardless of the field size. The Boys 15-18 Champion will earn 4 Performance Stars and Top 5 will each earn 1 Performance Star. The Girls 15-18 Champion will earn 4 Performance Stars and the Top 3 will each earn 1 Performance Star. The Girls 11-14 Champion will earn 1 Performance Star. The Boys 11-14 Champion will earn 1 performance star. Contact HJGT for any divisions with non-guaranteed status. This event is a two-day, 36-hole event. Both rounds will begin with a single tee start from 8:00-10:30 AM. Registration fees for members are $189 and $234 for non-members. Players of all abilities will enjoy Cimarrone’s par 72 championship layout. Designed by renowned architect, David Postlethwait, Cimarrone’s manicured course conditions and challenging design provides a fun, player-friendly experience for golfers of all abilities.

About us: The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intent of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of five age divisions: Boys 15-18, Boys 13-14, Boys 11-12, Girls 15-18, and Girls 11-14. Based out of Jacksonville, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the nation, with stops in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, Virginia, Mississippi, Pennsylvania, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Louisiana, Connecticut and Massachusetts.
