The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) will be hosting another Hurricane Tour Shop Series! This is the HJGT’s first tournament in New York, so don’t miss out on this experience to play in the first HJGT tournament in New York! The tournament is being held at Brynwood Golf and Country Club in Brynwood, NY on July 21-22. Winners in each division will receive an automatic bid into our Hurricane Tour Shop Series Invitational August 9-10 in Murrells Inlet, SC! The Hurricane Tour Shop Series is open to all golfers between the ages of 11-18. At stake during this tournament are Junior Golf Scoreboard Rankings (JGS), AJGA Performance Stars if the respective field sizes are met within each age division, an automatic bid into the 2014 Tour Championship, top 3 and ties in all divisions will receive an invite to the Hurricane Tour Shop Invitational, as well as the top 10 finishers from each division will receive points toward year end honors which include state teams, ALL HJGT teams, and Hurricane Cup Points. This is a two day 36-hole event. The first round will begin on Monday, July 21st with a single tee start running from 8:00-11:00AM. The second round, on Tuesday, July 22nd, will begin with a single tee start at 8:00-11:00AM. The registration fee is $185 for members and $215 for non-members. Nature and golf truly co-exist among 160 acres of picturesque woodlands conveniently located in the heart of Armonk among beautiful countryside hills. Adding to the charming scenery, our award winning golf course designed by Albert Zikorus has dramatic elevation changed on both nines and water present on five holes. Adding to these challenges are five long par 3s and gently sloping and undulating greens. Brynwood is on par with the world-class golf experience for which Westchester is well known.

About us: The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2008 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of four age divisions: Boys 15-18, Boys 11-14, Girls 11-14 and Girls 15-18.
