The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour is coordinating another College Prep Series, hosted at the Penn State Golf Course-Blue. Penn State is located in State college, Pennsylvania. The event will run through Saturday, June 14, and Sunday, June 15. The College Prep Series at Penn State is open to all junior golfers between the ages of 11-18. This tournament has a lot at stake. The champion in each division will win AJGA Performance Stars if their respective field size requirements are met. Junior Golf Scoreboard rankings will be awarded to all divisions. Additionally, the top ten finishers will receive points towards year end honors which include state teams, ALL HJGT teams and the Hurricane Cup. Winners in each division will receive an automatic bid into the 2014 Tour Championship Dec 6-7. Points for College Prep Series and 54 Hole Events1st Place- 1500 points 9th Place- 225 Points2nd Place- 1050 points 10th Place- 150 Points3rd Place- 825 points 11th Place- 125 Points4th Place- 600 points 12th Place- 125 Points5th Place- 525 points 13th Place- 100 Points6th Place- 450 Points 14th Place-100 Points7th Place- 375 Points 15th Place- 75 Points The event will be a two day, 36-hole, stroke play tournament. The first round will begin on Saturday with a single tee start running from 8AM-11AM. The second round, on Sunday, will begin with a single tee start at 8AM-11AM. About us: The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2008 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of four age divisions: Boys 15-18, Boys 11-14, Girls 11-14 and Girls 15-18.
