The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) will be hosting the Charleston Jr. Shootout presented by GolfDotz July 28-29. This tournament is being held at Dunes West Golf Club located in Mt. Pleasant, SC. The HJGT is excited to be returning to Charleston to provide a competitive playing opportunity for our South Carolina junior golfers and more! The Charleston Jr. Shootout is open to all golfers between the ages of 11-18. At stake during this tournament are Junior Golf Scoreboard Rankings (JGS), AJGA Performance Stars if the respective field sizes are met within each age division, South Carolina Junior Golf Association Heritage Points (SCJGA), Tarheel Youth Golf Association Points (TYGA) an automatic bid into the 2014 Tour Championship, as well as the top 10 finishers from each division will receive points toward year end honors which include state teams, ALL HJGT teams, and Hurricane Cup Points. This is a two day 36-hole event. The first round will begin on Monday, July 28th with a single tee start running from 8:00-12:00PM. The second round, on Tuesday, July 29th, will begin with a single tee start at 8:00-12:00PM. The registration fee is $185 for members and $215 for non-members. About us: The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2008 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of four age divisions: Boys 15-18, Boys 11-14, Girls 11-14 and Girls 15-18.
