Florida Fall Challenge October 5-6

The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour will make another stop in Orlando on October 5th – 6th at Grand Pines Golf Club. The Florida Fall Challenge is open to all junior golfers from ages 11-18. Winners in both Boys Divisions and the winner in the Girls 15-18 Division will receive AJGA Performance Stars as long as field size requirements are met. Winners in both the Boys 15-18 and the girls 15-18 along with the boys 11-14 will receive 1 exemption toward the Florida Junior Tour, as well as an invitation to the HJGT’s 2013 Tour Championship. Top ten finishers will be awarded points towards year-end honors. Lastly, winners in all four divisions will receive a $50 Kikkor Golf gift card.

The format for the tournament will be 36 holes of stroke play, with a double tee start both days at 7:30 AM. Registration will begin at 6:30 AM on Saturday. As previously mentioned there will be four age divisions. Registration for members is $179 and the non-member fee is $199. About us: The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2008 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of four age divisions: Boys 15-18, Boys 11-14, Girls 11-14 and Girls 15-18.
