This month, in the Boys 15-18 Division, the player of the month is Ewen Ferguson of Scotland. Ferguson placed first in the 54 Hole Challenge at Fleming Island. Ewen won the tournament in a playoff against Toks Pedro. He won the championship by an impressive birdie. This event marked the third HJGT tournament for Ferguson, and it also marked his first win of his HJGT career. Ferguson had an impressive Most Pars or better percentage at 85.2 %, along with a total of 39 pars, and a Par 3 Performance Average of 2.93. Congratulations to Ewen Ferguson on becoming February’s Bobby Grace Putters Player of the Month. In the Girls 15-18 Division Anna Sophia Bohmer of Colombia, is the Bobby Grace Putter Player of the Month. Bohmer recently placed first in the 54 Hole Challenge at Fleming Island. Bohmer posted an impressive lowest first round score of 67. In her first round Bohmer had a total of four birdies with one coming on the difficult 18th hole that was a par 5. Bohmer lead the field in multiple categories for that weekend including: most birdies (9), Par 3 Performance Average (2.93), most pars (38), and Par 5 Performance Average (4.92). Bohmer placed herself in the top position to become this month’s Bobby Grace Putters Player of the Month. The Boys 11-14 Division player of the month is Will Duma of Atlanta, GA. Duma won the boys division in the Kikkor Golf Series at Haile. Duma took first place at the tournament by winning in a playoff hole. Duma had a total of seven birdies in the tournament to position himself in the lead to win. Other notable feats accomplished by Duma were the best par 4 performance average (4.21), and an impressive Par 5 Performance average (4.90). Congratulations to Will Duma for becoming the Bobby Grace Putters Player of the Month. For the Girls 11-14 Division, Anita Uwadia of Lagos, Nigeria, takes home this month’s Bobby Grace Putter award. Uwadia placed first in her division at the Kiawah Island Jr. Challenge by shooting a two round total of 154. Uwadia also placed first in the 54 Hole Challenge at Fleming Island. This makes two wins for her in the month of February, in which she definitely deserves credit. Uwadia is well- deserving to receive this month’s Bobby Grace Putters Player of the Month.
