Dayton Jr. Classic Centerville, OH May 9-10


The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) will be making a tour stop in the state of Ohio May 9-10 at the beautiful Yankee Trace in Centerville, OH.  Ohio juniors will have the opportunity to play one of the area’s finest golf clubs against competition from all over the east coast. Dayton Jr. Classic is open to all golfers between the ages of 11-18. The Junior Golf Scoreboard (JGS) will nationally rank the event. Top 3 finishers in each division will receive an exemption into the 2015 Mid-Season Invitational at Chateau Elan June 20-22.  Winners in each division will receive an exemption into the 2015 National Championship December 5-6 in Orlando, FL.  Top 10 finishers receive points towards year end honors which include state teams, ALL HJGT teams, and the Hurricane Cup. Dayton Jr. Classic will have guaranteed AJGA Performance Stars at stake regardless of the field size for specific divisions. Both rounds will begin with a single tee start from 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Registration fees for members are $199 and $244 for non-members. Players can register at The Golf Club at Yankee Trace is the finest golf facility in the area, possessing a 27-hole, championship golf course, bentgrass practice range for golf lessons and general practice, along with a beautiful 32,000 square foot clubhouse. The clubhouse includes a well-equipped pro shop and indoor practice area.

About us: The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of five age divisions: Boys 15-18, Boys 13-14, Boys 11-12, Girls 15-18, and Girls 11-14.
