The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) invites you to play in the College Prep Series! This event will be held at Pete Dye River Course of Virginia Tech in Radford, VA on March 21-22. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity to play one of Virginia’s premier golf courses! The College Prep Series at Virginia Tech is open to all golfers between the ages of 11-18. The event will be ranked by the Junior Golf Scoreboard (JGS). Top 3 finishers in each division will receive an exemption into the 2015 Mid-Season Invitational at Chateau Elan June 20-22. Winners in each division will receive an exemption into the 2015 National Championship December 5-6. Top 10 finishers receive points towards year end honors which include state teams, ALL HJGT teams, and the Hurricane Cup. The College Prep Series at VA Tech will have guaranteed AJGA Performance Stars at stake regardless of the field size. The Boys 15-18 Champion will earn 4 Performance Stars and Top 5 will each earn 1 Performance Star. Contact HJGT for any divisions with non-guaranteed status. This event is a two-day, 36-hole event. Both rounds will begin with a single tee start from 8:00-10:30 AM. Registration fees for members are $209 and $254 for non-members. River Course is a great 18 hole regulation course located at the Pete Dye River Course of Virginia Tech facility in Radford, VA. From the longest tees it offers 7,665 yards of golf for a par of 72. About us: The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intent of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of five age divisions: Boys 15-18, Boys 13-14, Boys 11-12, Girls 15-18, and Girls 11-14.
