College Prep Series at Purdue

(May 27-29, 2017)

On Memorial Day Weekend, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour traveled to West Lafayette, IN to host the College Prep Series at Purdue at the famous Kampen Golf Club. We would like to thank the Kampen Golf Club for allowing us to host a great event there. Over the course of the weekend the players fought through the challenging links style course with a fog delay on the first day and slight rain on the second day. Even with a minor fog delay Saturday, nothing could stop us from having a great weekend! There was quite a bit at stake during this tournament for the top 3 finishers of each division. The top 3 finishers in each division would receive exemption for the 2017 National Championships on December 2-3, 2017 along with qualifying for the Mid-Season Invitational at Sea Island Plantation on June 11-13. The top ten finishers also were rewarded points towards end of the year honors, which include state teams, ALL HJGT teams, and the Hurricane Cup.
