Club Med Academies Junior Open

 (March 18-19, 2017)

This weekend the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour took the road to Port Saint Lucie, to host the Club Med Academies Junior Open at the Sandpiper Golf Club at Club Med. Sunshine and clear skies with temperatures in the mid to upper 70’s accompanied the tournament this weekend. The HJGT would like to thank the Sandpiper Golf Club at Club Med, and Club Med for letting us host at such an amazing course and resort. There was quite a bit at stake during this tournament for the top 3 finishers of each division. One was that the top 3 of each division would get exemption into the 2017 National Championship which takes place December 2-3, 2017. The next was that the top 3 would also get exemption into the Mid-Season Invitational at Sea Island Plantation June 11-13, 2017. The top ten finishers were also rewarded points towards end of the year honors.
