The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) invites you to play in the Charleston Junior Shootout!  This event will be held at The Links at Stono Ferry in Hollywood, SC on February 7-8. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity to play one of South Carolina’s premier golf courses! The Charleston Junior Shootout is open to all golfers between the ages of 11-18. At stake in this event are opportunities to earn Junior Golf Scoreboard (JGS) Rankings, South Carolina Junior Golf Association Heritage Points (SCJGA) and Tarheel Youth Golf Association Points (TYGA). The following AJGA Performance Stars are also at stake: Boys 15-18 Champion= 4 Performance Stars, Boys 15-18 Top 5= 1 Performance Star, Girls 15-18 Champion= 4 Performance Stars, Girls 15-18 Top 3= 1 Performance Star, Girls 11-14 Champion= 1 Performance Star Top 3 finishers in each division will receive an exemption into the 2015 Mid-Season Invitational at Chateau Elan June 20-22.  Winners in each division will receive an exemption into the 2015 Tour Championship December 5-6.  Top 10 finishers receive points towards year end honors which include state teams, ALL HJGT teams, and the Hurricane Cup. This event is a two-day, 36-hole event. Both rounds will begin with a single tee start from 8:00-10:30 AM. Registration fees for members are $189 and $234 for non-members. The Links at Stono Ferry combines the historic traditions of Charleston with exciting golf along the Intracoastal waters of South Carolina.  The Battle at Stono Ferry was fought on these grounds in 1779.  As you play your way around our beautiful links you'll discover many relics from this amazing piece of history.

About us: The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2008 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of five age divisions: Boys 15-18, Boys 13-14, Boys 11-12, Girls 11-14 and Girls 15-18. Based out of Jacksonville, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the nation, with stops in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama, Ohio, Indiana, Virginia, New Jersey, Maryland, Mississippi, New York, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Massachusetts, Illinois, Louisiana, and Connecticut.
