After battling through the elements on Saturday, one player stood atop the Boys 15-18 leader board entering the final round. Brady Roberts would post an opening round 80 and lead by 1 stroke over Hans Stromberg going into Sunday’s round. Brady managed to shoot another low score of 80 on Sunday to win by 8 strokes going away. “It was a complete grind. The course was tough and the weather was not great but I am happy to come away with a victory,” Brady stated. After posting an opening round 81, Stromberg would come back on Sunday to shoot an 87 to secure a second place finish behind Roberts. Evan Davis shot a nice round of 83, and Robbie Keyes who was playing in the same grouping shot an 84 to bring both of their two day totals to 171 and tie them for 3rd place. Davis would also tie Brady Roberts and Grant Hummel in scoring average on par 3s (3.4) for the weekend. Winner Brady Roberts would lead the field in par 4 scoring (4.2). Runner up, Hans Stromberg would lead the field in par 5 scoring average (5.2) for the weekend. Roberts’ win is his first on tour and earns him a spot in the 2014 Tour Championship in Orlando, FL.
