The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour will be continuing the 2014 season in Dunnellon, Florida when they host the Central Florida Junior Classic on February 1-2. This tournament is open to all junior golfers between the ages of 11-18. Being played at the award-winning Juliette Falls Golf Course, this tournament has a lot up for grabs. The champion in each division will win AJGA Performance Stars if their respective field size requirements are met. National Junior Golf Scoreboard rankings will be awarded as well as Florida Junior Tour Exemptions. Winners in each division will receive an automatic bid into the HJGT 2014 Tour Championship and Mid-Season Invitational. Additionally, the top 10 finishers will receive points towards year end honors, state teams, ALL HJGT teams and the Hurricane Cup. The Central Florida Junior Classic will be a 36-hole stroke play event. The first round will begin on Saturday with a double tee start running from 8AM-10AM. The final round will also be a double tee start on Sunday with times ranging from 8AM-10AM. The registration fee is $185 for members and $215 for non-members. About us: The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2008 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of four age divisions: Boys 15-18, Boys 11-14, Girls 11-14 and Girls 15-18.
