The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour will be traveling to Aiken, SC when they host the Carolina Spring Challenge. This tournament is open to all junior golfers between the ages of 11-18. Being played at the picturesque Woodside Plantation Golf Course, this tournament has a lot up for grabs. The champion in each division will win AJGA Performance Stars if their respective field size requirements are met. National Junior Golf Scoreboard rankings will be awarded as well as Tarheel Youth Golf Association points and South Carolina Junior Golf Association Heritage Points. Winners in each division will receive an automatic bid into the HJGT 2014 Tour Championship and Mid-Season Invitational. Additionally, the top ten finishers will receive points towards year end honors which include state teams, ALL HJGT teams and the Hurricane Cup. Northern Virginia Junior Open will be a two day, 36-hole, stroke play event. The first round will begin on Saturday with a double tee start running from 12PM-2PM. The second round, on Sunday, will also be a double tee start with times ranging from 8AM-10AM. The registration fee is $185 for members and $215 for non-members. About us: The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2008 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of four age divisions: Boys 15-18, Boys 11-14, Girls 11-14 and Girls 15-18.
