The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour will be in Sharpsburg, Georgia for the third event in the Canongate Series. The tournament is being played at Canongate 1 Golf Club on May 24-26. This event is a 54 hole challenge tournament! Canongate Series #3 is open to all junior golfers between the ages of 11-18. This tournament has plenty of points and invitations available. The champion in each division will win AJGA Performance Stars if their respective field size requirements are met. Junior Golf Scoreboard rankings will be awarded to all divisions as well as South Carolina Junior Golf Association Heritage Points. The winners in each division will receive an automatic bid into the HJGT 2014 Tour Championship and Mid-Season Invitational. Additionally, the top 15 finishers will receive points towards year end honors which include state teams, the Canongate finale, ALL HJGT teams and the Hurricane Cup. The event will be a three day, 54-hole, stroke play tournament. The first round will begin on Saturday with a double tee start running from 12PM - 2PM. The second round, on Sunday, will also be a double tee start with times ranging from 12PM - 2PM. The final round on Monday will again be a double tee start with times ranging from 8AM - 10AM. The registration fee is $210 for Canongate Members, $235 for HJGT members and $265 for non-members. For 2014 membership information please refer to our website. Canongate I Golf Club, located in Sharpsburg, Georgia, was the first of the Canongate golf courses. It originally opened in 1965 with 18 holes designed by world-renowned architects Dick Wilson and Joe Lee. An additional 18 holes were added in 1999 by architects Rocky Roquemore and Jeff Burton. This unique, 36-hole Club features four distinct nines that integrate seamlessly into the surrounding natural area, making it a favorite among Canongate members.

About us: The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2008 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of four age divisions: Boys 15-18, Boys 11-14, Girls 11-14 and Girls 15-18.
