The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) invites you to play in Canongate Series #1! This event will be held at Canongate at Mirror Lake in Villa Rica, GA on February 28- March 1. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity to play one of Georgia’s premier golf courses! Canongate Series #1 is open to all golfers between the ages of 11-18. The event will be ranked by the Junior Golf Scoreboard (JGS). Top 3 finishers in each division will receive an exemption into the 2015 Mid-Season Invitational at Chateau Elan June 20-22. Winners in each division will receive an exemption into the 2015 Tour Championship December 5-6. Top 10 finishers receive points towards year end honors which include state teams, ALL HJGT teams, and the Hurricane Cup. Canongate Series #1 will have guaranteed AJGA Performance Stars at stake regardless of the field size. The Boys 15-18 Champion will earn 4 Performance Stars and Top 5 will each earn 1 Performance Star. The Girls 15-18 Champion will earn 4 Performance Stars and the Top 3 will each earn 1 Performance Star. The Girls 11-14 Champion will earn 1 Performance Star. The Boys 11-14 will earn 1 Performance Star. Contact HJGT for any divisions with non-guaranteed status. This event is a two-day, 36-hole event. Both rounds will begin with a single tee start from 8:00-10:30 AM. Registration fees for Canongate members are $160. Registration fees for HJGT members are $189 and $234 for non-members. Mirror Lake, located just west of Atlanta in Villa Rica, Georgia, is a Rocky Roquemore and Jeff Burton creation that has been delighting golfers since opening in 1999. The course is set on the shore of the beautiful, 100-acre Mirror Lake and the modern design of the course features some of the area’s most spectacular views.

About us: The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2008 with the intent of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of five age divisions: Boys 15-18, Boys 13-14, Boys 11-12, Girls 15-18, and Girls 11-14.
