Canongate Invitational Fenton Cup Legacy October 17-18

The Fenton Cup Legacy lives on through HJGT’s Canongate Series Finale

JACKSONVILLE, FL: The Fenton Cup is a prestigious award that was lost 3 years ago. The son of the founders, Russ Fenton, made it a goal of his to track it down and find it. After searching all over Georgia Russ found the trophy at one of the many Canongate courses. Ike and Eloise Fenton created the Fenton Cup in 1998, because of the lack of junior golf in the Peachtree City area. The tournament grew steadily over the next 13 years, and grew so big that Nike tried to buy the cup from the Fenton’s. When Canongate and HJGT partnered up the Cup was lost in translation. Now that Russ Fenton found the Cup, HJGT is glad to present it to the Canongate Series Finale boys and girls 15-18 division winners.
