
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour is excited for our Birmingham Jr. Open at Limestone Springs Golf Club! On Monday, June 30 and Tuesday, July 1, we will be in Oneonta, Alabama, challenging our juniors to play their best! The Birmingham Jr. Open presented by GolfDotz is open to all junior golfers between the ages of 11-18. During this tournament, players will be competing for an array of points, rankings, exemptions, and even AJGA stars if the field size in the respective division is met! Junior Golf Scoreboard rankings (JGS) are available and the winners from each division will receive and automatic bid into the 2014 Tour Championship! At this tournament, the top 10 finishers will receive points towards year end honors which include state teams, ALL HJGT teams, and the Hurricane Cup. The event will be a two day, 36-hole, stroke play tournament. The first round will begin on Monday, June 30, with a single tee start running from 7:30AM-11:30AM. The second round, on Tuesday, July 1, will begin with a single tee start at 7:30AM-11:30AM. The registration fee is $185 for members and $215 for non-members. About us: The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2008 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of four age divisions: Boys 15-18, Boys 11-14, Girls 11-14 and Girls 15-18. Based out of Jacksonville, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the nation, with stops in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama, Ohio, Indiana, Virginia, New Jersey, Maryland, Mississippi, New York, and Pennsylvania.
