The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) will be making a tour stop in the state of Georgia May 9-10 at the beautiful Bartram Trail in Evans,GA. Georgia juniors will have the opportunity to play one of the area’s finest country clubs against competition from all over the east coast. Augusta Jr. Shootout is open to all golfers between the ages of 11-18. South Carolina Junior Golf Association Heritage Points (SCJGA) and The Junior Golf Scoreboard (JGS) will rank the event. Top 3 finishers in each division will receive an exemption into the 2015 Mid-Season Invitational at Chateau Elan June 20-22. Winners in each division will receive an exemption into the 2015 National Championship December 5-6 in Orlando, FL. Top 10 finishers receive points towards year end honors which include state teams, ALL HJGT teams, and the Hurricane Cup. Augusta Junior Shootout will have guaranteed AJGA Performance Stars at stake regardless of the field size for specific divisions. The first round will begin with a single tee start from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM and the second round will begin with a single tee start at 8:00AM- 10:00 AM. A beautiful, rolling golf course located in Columbia County, Georgia, just minutes away from Augusta – one of the great meccas of the golfing world. Bartram Trail is the only public golf course in Columbia County to offer MiniVerde fine bladed Ultra Dwarf Bermuda grass and feature five par 5’s and five par 3’s.

About us: The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of five age divisions: Boys 15-18, Boys 13-14, Boys 11-12, Girls 15-18, and Girls 11-14.
