The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) is excited to invite you one of our final events in our home state of Florida for 2014! We thank our participants for their devotion to the HJGT and are rewarding them with another top event! The Amelia Island Jr. Challenge will be held at Amelia River Golf Club on Saturday November 15th through Sunday November 16th. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to enjoy an incredible course, while competing in our 50 player active field composed of the best young golfers in the state of Florida!
The Amelia Island Jr. Challenge is open to all golfers between the ages of 11-18. At stake in this event are opportunities to earn Junior Golf Scoreboard Rankings (JGS), and AJGA Performance Stars if the respective field sizes are met within each age division. First place finishers in each division receive an automatic bid to the 2014 Tour Championship, held on December 6th-7th.
This event is a two-day, 36 hole event. The first round will kick off Saturday, November 15th with a double tee start running from 7:30AM to 9:30AM. The second round will begin Sunday, November 16th with a double tee start running from 7:30AM to 9:30AM. Registration fees for HJGT members are $185 and $215 for non-members. About us: The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2008 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of four age divisions: Boys 15-18, Boys 11-14, Girls 11-14 and Girls 15-18. Based out of Jacksonville, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the nation, with stops in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama, Ohio, Indiana, Virginia, New Jersey, Maryland, Mississippi, New York, and Pennsylvania.
