The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour Alumni Spotlight features Lagrange College's Men’s Golf Athlete Osborne Theam.
Osborne has been an outstanding player not only on the HJGT tour, but at Lagrange College as well.
In his freshman year, Osborne did not waste his time and became the first Panther Freshman to earn All-American status. Later on during the year he was also selected into the USA South All - Conference Team and also won the prestigious USA South Rookie of the Year award. He closed his Freshman year with an impressive result at the NCAA Division III National Championship, when he finished 7th overall with a four day total of 293.
In 2015 Osborne was ranked 16th overall in the Division III player rankings, and was also selected to the Division III PING All - American Third Team for the second year in a row.
Osborne gained some valuable experience during the time he played on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour, that served as a strong base for his collage career.
During his high school career, Osborne participated in a great number of HJGT Tournaments, and consistently finished with great results. During the 2010 season Osborne finished third at the HJGT Winter Championship. In 2011 he participated at an impressing number of 10 tournaments with the HJGT and was the champion of both the HJ Glove Junior Open and the Hilton Head Junior Open. Osborne wrapped up his impressive career at the HJGT with claiming first place at the 1st Coast Junior Open.
