The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour Alumni Spotlight is proud to feature Penn State University golfer, Lauren Freyvogel.
Lauren became a member of the HJGT in the start of the 2018 season. She competed in the Justin Timberlake division and without hesitation, proved her dominance in the sport. She competed at the Pittsburgh Junior Open on October 20th and 21st and shot a very impressive 74 and 72 respectively. With a remarkable 146 total over the two-day tournament, Lauren went smooth sailing straight to the top of the podium, earning first place in her division.
Although Lauren only competed in the HJGT for one season, she made the most of it and left her all on the course each time she played. She currently has committed to Penn State University and will start her college golf career in the Fall of 2019.
We are thrilled to see our young golfers making an impact at the next level, and we wish Lauren Freyvogel the best of luck!
