Alumni Spotlight - Grace Henderson

The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour Alumni Spotlight features Bradley University's Women’s Golf Athlete

 Grace Henderson. 


Grace has been an outstanding player not only on the HJGT tour, but at Bradley University as well.

During her career at Bradley University:

WGCA All-American Scholar: (2015-16 & 2014-15) MVC Commissioner's Academic Excellence Award: (2015) MVC Honor Roll: (2016, 2015) Bradley Athletic Director's Honor Roll (5): Fall '14, Spring '15, Fall '15, Spring '16, Fall '16

In her freshman year, Grace played in seven tournaments for Bradley University. She fired a season-best 78 in the final round at the season-opening Redbird Invitational and turned in her lowest 54-hole total at the Johnie Imes Invite, where she shot a 235.

In the 2015-16 season Grace Tied for 36th at the MVC Championship and earned her first career top-10 finish at the Bradley Invitational, tying for eighth as she helped Bradley to the team title. Grace was able to post three top-20 finishes. She shot a career-best 72 in the opening round of the Rio Verde Invitational, where she tied for 15th to lead the team.

During her high school career, Grace participated in a great number of HJGT Tournaments, and consistently finished with great results. During the 2012 season she played in 6 tournaments with us and claimed for the North Georgie Jr. Open. Grace wrapped up her impressive career at the HJGT with winning the Hurricane Tour Shop Series at Chateau Elan.
