More AJGA Performance Stars for 2014

The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour is excited to announce the new criteria for AJGA Performance Stars, which offers players more opportunities to earn stars at all HJGT events. In 2014 the AJGA will recognize any 36 or 54 hole event on the HJGT schedule with Performance Stars. The new performance based entry will reward more players with Performance Stars including the Girls 11-14 division.   Boys (15-18) Champion – 4 Performance Stars Boys (15-18) Top 5 – 1 Performance Star Boys (11-14) Champion – 1 Performance Star Girls (15-18) Champion – 4 Performance Stars Girls (11-14) Champion – 1 Performance Star   The fields will need to meet the following criteria in order to receive PBE status. Boys (15-18):  40 players- If 55 boys, top 10% will receive 1 Performance Star Girls (15-18): 12 players- If 18 girls, top 10% will receive 1 Performance Star   About us: The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2008 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of four age divisions: Boys 15-18, Boys 11-14, Girls 11-14 and Girls 15-18.
