The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour will be hosting two 54- hole challenges over President’s day weekend. Macon, GA and Orange Park, FL are set as the host cities for the tournaments. Each tournament will play a vital role toward point accumulation for the 2013 season, with additional points awarded to each of the four age divisions. In lieu of the standard 1,000 points, winners will receive 1500 points which will weigh heavily toward the inaugural Hurricane Cup. The event will be ranked by National Junior Golf Scoreboard (NJGS), South Carolina Junior Golf Association (SCJGA), and Tarheel Youth Golf Association (TYGA). Points will be awarded to the top 15 in each division and each division winner will receive an automatic bid into the 2013 Tour Championship. Tournament format will consist of the following: 54-hole stroke play with a double tee start beginning at 10:30AM on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday (President’s Day). Event registration will take place at 9:30AM on Saturday the 16th. Registration for members is $229 and the non-member fee is $249. The course is beautifully designed with an eloquent and sophisticated feel to it. Sitting along the outskirts of Macon, GA the course is recognized as the 15th best golf course in the entire state of Georgia. The course is a blend of beauty and difficulty and has been host to many notable venues such as the 2012 USGA Mid Amateur Qualifier.

About us: The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2008 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of four age divisions: Boys 15-18, Boys 11-14, Girls 11-14 and Girls 15-18.
