HJGT unveils new membership plan
After a very successful year filled with tons of excitement, the HJGT looks to head into 2013 with a full head of steam! In 2013, the HJGT will be expanding to 4 new states and increasing from 64 tournaments in 2012 to over 90 tournaments in 2013. In addition to expanding the tour, the HJGT will also be unveiling a new membership plan.
The 2013 membership plan will offer one flat membership rate of 55 dollars, which will give members access to all of the 2013 tour events. Once registered as a member, HJGT junior golfers will then be given special members tournament registration fees of only 179 dollars for two day events and 229 dollars for three day events. Those who choose not to sign up for the 2013 membership plan will have the option to sign up for individual tournaments with rates of 199 dollars for two day events and 249 dollars for three day events. To receive points for the 2013 Points Standings, you must be a member of the HJGT. Being a member also allows you to qualify for the Hurricane Cup. Once logged into your HJGT player’s account, simply look for the 2013 renewal tab located on the players homepage and follow the prompts on how to sign up for your 2013 HJGT membership. For those junior golfers looking to become first time members of the HJGT, head to the HJGT homepage (www.hjgt.org), and at the bottom of the page under the member’s login box look for the sign up now hyperlink. After clicking the sign up now hyperlink, simply fill out your personal information and continue to follow the command prompts. It’s that simple!
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour aims to provide each member with dedicated customer service. Whether on the course or in the office, the HJGT Staff will do anything possible to satisfy every members needs. On average, the HJGT fields the largest number of staff on course during tournaments compared to competitors, as well as excelling in giving members up to the minute scoring updates, numerous benefits, as well as the opportunity to play at world class golf courses all throughout the Southeast. The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2008 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on tour will compete in one of four age divisions: Boys 15-18 Division, Boys 11-14 and Girls 15-18 Division and 11-14 Division. Based out of Jacksonville, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the southeast, with stops in Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina.
