HJGT and Play Collegiate Golf Scholarship 2010
Play Collegiate Golf will sponsor an annual scholarship to be presented to a deserving Hurricane Junior Golf Tour member. The Play Collegiate Golf Scholarship will consist of a consultation package (valued at $1000 if purchased) awarded to a Hurricane Junior Golf Tour member in an effort to help parents and junior golfers better understand the NCAA College recruiting process. The 15 hours of consulting support will work through various aspects of beginning the collegiate golf program search process, helping frame “best fit” academic and athletic institutions as well as understanding the rules and regulations of collegiate golf. The Play Collegiate Golf Scholar will receive guided support in researching potential collegiate golf programs, tournament planning, and creating practice routines to improve. The Play Collegiate Golf Scholarship supports the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour’s goal of preparing its members for success at the collegiate level in both the academic and the athletic environments.
